During the time I didn't post, a couple of things happened, mostly quite good.

Day 1, 06 December 2007, Thursday:
Clarissa's birthday! And DAY 1 of kidsgames ARISE!. Met Joyce at about 7.50 at Tampines MRT. Walked to Saint Hilda's Primary School (my primary sch and venue for ARISE!) It changed so much. There are new decorations and verses on the walls. Sigh. And a lot of teachers are gone. *sob sob* The SJSM bus was late, which made Joyce and I wait for quite a while. We headed up to the Hildan Ark (hall) for worship. The songs were so fun. Followed the lower primary for games. They were so cute. Selecia, a girl from Chapel of Christ the Redeemer, joined my group and turned out to be my younger brother's classmate, and quite close friends at that. How coincidental was that? During discussion time, I took my group, consisting of P4s-P6s called BLACK 5, and this boy, Edgar, kept finishing the story of Joseph (which was the ARISE! topic)by saying that Joseph became king, which was not what happened. Anyway, I tried to let all of them answer the questions, but, of course, Edgar kept answering them. After that, more games, tug-of-war, realised that Edgar was very strong and so was Stephen. Then I headed home.

Day 2, 07 December 2007, Friday:
Another day of ARISE!. But today I went there by myself. Met Joyce there, and again the SJSM bus was late. Worship, still very cute and fun, followed the upper primary this time round. Made friends with Regine and Sandra. During the games, realised that Edgar was actually very nice and sweet. During lunch, he even helped me buy a drink. I also got to know David Koh, Peter's brother who I might point out is exactly like Peter except that Peter isn't as unreasonable. Anyway, Edgar helped me gather the group members, besides being enthusiastic in the games. During discussion, he allowed me time and the opportunity to ask the questions to the others too. During the games, it started raining so we had another round of worship. Home sweet home.

Day 3, 08 December 2007, Saturday:
Last day of ARISE!. Headed to Saint Hilda's and reached a little late. Worship, then the championship games. I went with the upper primary again, but Edgar and Marilyn went to represent BLACK team in the crazy cup competition. Edgar was super sweet at this point of time, because when Kevin didn't get to represent the P5s of the BLACK team, Edgar asked Uncle Jit to replace himself with Kevin although he wanted to be the representive. The sweetest P5 boy I know, he's so different from David. Haha. I took the lower primary during the relay and the "water bucket" competition. We had a last discussion session about Joseph, which actually helped to show me that God does have a "HIGHER" purpose for us, just like Jospeh although we're down in the dumps. We ate lunch followed by the ARISE! concert and prize presentation. BLACK got 3rd! We left and that was the end of kidsgames ARISE! 2007. The leaders have medals too.

Yesterday, church signed up for HIGHER, go to Elaine's house for cluster, went back to church for dance with sk who paid for the cab fare. Thanks. Today, sectionals.

Thank God for ARISE! which was very powerful and for letting me be a part of it. Thank God for the kids and that they will be blessed by ARISE!

This is NATalie, the narcissistic little girl. This girl is smarter than she looks and dumber than she speaks. She knows that she is very crazy very often because she can get high on nothing. Natalie can choose to be super duper; friendly, high, emo, silent, shy and happy as she has many different personalities. She is proud to be a golfer and glad to be a musician.

mostLOVED

Natalie loves her oboe and her 1974 Morris guitar, Jayden. Of course, she loves her close friends. She obviously enjoys listening to music and playing it, especially in a band. (ie. Drumsticks&Tulips) Natalie has fun playing sports. She loves watching her idol Rory Mcilroy (NIR) play golf! In case you didn't know, she supports Liverpool and Steven Gerrard. Admittedly, she is addicted to her Kpop idol, ChoiJongHoon and his band, FT Island. Natalie's favourite colours are purple, pink and blue. Nat <3 YOU! (cause someone is ACTUALLY reading her blog)
