Haven't posted for about a week. Wow. It's amazing what can happen in a week. I went to NSRCC again. Played lots of Monopoly and watched Enchanted.
Yesterday, We had a family Prayer Meeting, Auntie Connie, Auntie Agnes, Uncle Alan, Auntie Angela, Auntie Lena, Mummy, Me and Tammy(who left half way). It was the very first time I've ever attended one for my extended family prayer meetings. It was cool how we just gathered and prayed. There were even a few tears. It was just so cool to see my paternal extended family (all 1st generation christians), just pray about the rest of the family. Like for those who "bai bai" and belive in all sorts of ungodly things. While we were prayer, Glen, Stefan and Tammy were playing. Daddy and Uncle Andy were watching Newcastle vs. Liverpool, 0-3. LIVERPOOL! Auntie Elaine and the eldest aunt (who we call twa kor) weren't there. AUntie Elaine is probably overseas and twa kor is still in Japan, coming here soon. *yay twa kor! and cream puffs!* She always brings back the best cream puffs and foodstuffs that we don't usually eat. But she's a very sweet, nice aunt. When she comes, we'll have a family portrait taken!
On other news, today, Abigail and I joined the wonderful chinese youth congregation! YAY! They're the fun-nest people. They're just soo fun-loving. I made new friends, Verity and Esther. And I "reconciled" with a girl I hung out with when I was young, Brina. We went to terminal 3, ate Bk at terminal 2 and went back to T3 to check it out. It wasn't very ready though, but I was delighted when I saw.... KWEE KWEE. She was there with her family checking it out, she was actually tagging along with my group of friends but we didn't see each other. How coincidental (and cock-eyed)!
Number one on my thank God list, I thank God for the WHOLE of today and my family. Thank God for people who can be trusted and for our God who can be trusted.

There are 2 camps coming up soon. Band camp, which I love so much, and youth camp, which I don't rather enjoy. I've made up my mind, I won't go for youth camp unless at least 8 non-camp committee people and 2 camp committee persuade me till I want to go and Hannah and Sarah are going. (Hannah and Sarah are the 2 cutest, sweetest and noisiest P6 girls in JC. Well, they're from the same primary school as me and I got to know them through there.) I'm so demanding. LoL. I'll definitely go for band camp! I love band!
Anyway, I can't wait for tomorrow. Marching!!! It's so fun to march and we're going to learn from scratch again. I just love marching, with and without instrument. I wonder what'll happen tomorrow. We're going to report at 10 and have a marching session with Shan Hui and Amanda. Weeeeee. MARCHING!
Yesterday, church. The P6s and their parents joined us for service and cluster.(The P6s include Hannah and Sarah.) The whole Bethel Auditorium was so full, they had to take more chairs out. I'm guessing the Christ Sanctuary and Agape Hall were emptier. I had such a great time talking to the P6s during the break. They were so nice, mostly because I already knew them. Nathanael joined our conversation. (Nathanael is Hannah's brother, P4) Cluster time was almost as crowded. With some parents playing our Cluster game, "Super Chicken", organised by Angie. Then we did creative worship with Wan Lin leading. And we split into cell as usual. After that, before going home, I went down to find Hannah and Sarah and I saw Rachel. The one that's my age but didn't want to go for Heartbeat. I invited her to youth camp. I hope she comes.
Jeri kor kor joined us for luch, squeezing 8 people into a 6+1 seater car. My parents, Ah ma, Jeri kor kor, Glen, Me, Tammy and Stefan. We had quite a lot of space actually.
I ate, went home, showered, took a nap, ate dinner, went to cold storage to buy apple cider vinegar, ate chng tng, Went to Auntie Agnes' house because daddy was playing Mah Jong with them, played dai di with Auntie Connie, Stefan+ Auntie Agnes and Glen. And walked home, brushed my teeth, watched tv and slept really late.
I got my class too. 3e4C. Just what I want.
Thank God the P6s could make it yesterday. And that I met Rachel. Must pray for some of the P6s who are very very scared of us. Thank God for bringing me to the class that I want.

Happy Birthday Xiang Yi and Samantha!
I'm thinking this is rather unexpected because we hardly even talk. But you guys were my friends since sec 1. I will never forget "I not stupid 2"! The first and last time we ever went out, 4 of us (plus Gino). Want to hang out with both of you some time. We hardly get any chance to just go out. Hopefully we can go for the Manjusri concert together! Miss the times we smsed and called each other at night. Hopefully, we'll do that again someday yea? To the first band senior I ever talked to, will never forget you. Come back and visit the band. To one of the first band friends I've ever been comfortable with, I miss talking to you. Go out again some time without your clique and my clique? Probably with OUR ex-drum major and kor. Love both of you! Best wishes for the few hours left of this birthday!
Thank God for friends!

After such a long time, after the cold war that was started by me, I finally get to talk to you. I missed talking to you. It was like the tension between us was finally broken, although it's still there. At first I was fine with talking to you, it seemed so easy, you were so friendly. It didn't seem wrong to talk to you, you seemed okay. Until that day, when I made some tension between us. I don't know how or why, but I did. I just didn't want anything to do with you. You became another person in my eyes. And I only realised how foolished I was, when God showed me that there's more than that to friendship. I mean yea, we can't always be a low life, self-centered jerk and that's what I am. I am a low life, self-centered jerk, and a dumb one at that. But I doubt I can change overnight. It wasn't because you wanted the tension, it was me. I created the tension. But I hated the uneasy eye contact. And because I just didn't want to talk to you, you didn't mind and played along. Making eye contact last time would come with hand signals like "Are you leaving?" with you pointing to the door and the eyebrow raised. I missed those times that we could even play games together. I'm the same person, the same problematic girl as I was in the beginning of sec 1. Making problems for all sorts of people at all sorts of times. You're probably never going to read this, but if you do, I apologise. I'm sorry.
I thank God that our friendship is not going to be broken down that easily.
At first, I just didn't want to go for the philippines mission trip. If as they say, money isn't a problem, Lixin's going to malaysia on the 14th too (no cookies), and if I don't get homesick, more than half of the problems are actually being solved.. After much thinking, I'll say no. We'll see what goes on during that time, why it's a no.
Besides that, I find my self staring at the walls, my life wasting away. I don't know what is going on. The more I see it, the more I need Him and to be under His loving arms. Oh God, bring me back onto my path. When You amaze me with the things You are showing me, I cannot help but stand in awe. How excellent You are, Lord. Why do you create such useless things? Why do You create such useless beings that refuse to listen to You? Why create such ignorant fools who do not listen, but come crying and begging for forgiveness and You listen? Why do You show us such mercy? We deserve nothing. Not even the clothes on our backs. We deserve to be burning in the fiery hell. Why, Lord, why?

You know, people have been complaining about their parents a lot since the holidays came and I'm rather taken aback by the people who are saying mean stuff. Some are rather predictable because they always complain about their parents whatever their parents do. Majority of those who complain happen to be rather rich and I'm wondering if it's the fact that they're rich, to some extent, that's pulling them away from their parents. If so, I never want to be rich. It's going to be such a torture. And I hate being such a "complainer". First thing's first people don't like to hear others complain no matter how much they themselves complain. And I love my friends much to much to torture them. They're just the sweetest people.
I miss the big crowd of people seated in the parade square when I enter school a few moments before the gate closes. I miss the noisy chatter of the canteen during recess. I miss the school library which contains the Chronicles Of Narnia that I'm dying to read now. I miss the homework that I hate to do. I miss the teachers that issue out the homework that I hate to do. I miss the oh so dreadful lessons that teachers conduct. I miss waking up early and feeling all sleepy and getting energised after a run around school during morning exercise. I miss the science lab where Ms Deepa holds the most wonderful of practical lessons that are the most fun. I miss school!!
I don't understand why holidays have to be so BORING! I borrowed a few books under Lixin's name so that we could get the lucky dip. We won an "I <3 MY LIBRARY" clip. Going to put it in the band library. I love the band library. Digressing.. I've read thorough 3/4 of skybreaker. I started it on wednesday when I went for CYAN and was welcomed by the nicest people who were so so much older than me.
I found this on Derick's blog.

I got this really funny thing off the net. 10 things about Natalie:- If every star in the Milky Way was a grain of salt they would fill Natalie.
- The first toy product ever advertised on television was Mr Natalie Head!
- Over half of Americans are officially Natalie!
- Peanuts and Natalie are beans.
- Julius Caesar wore a laurel wreath to cover up Natalie!
- Olympic badminton rules say that Natalie must have exactly fourteen feathers.
- Moles are able to tunnel through 300 feet of Natalie in a day.
- Red Natalie at night, shepherd's delight. Red Natalie at morning, shepherd's warning.
- Natalieomancy is the art of telling the future with Natalie.
- Banging your head against Natalie uses 150 calories an hour.
Hilarious eh?Just fill the thingy in and wa la! It's done.

There's a song that my father has asked me not to forget. It's rather meaningful and I hope it not only helps me to reflect, but you too. I came across it yesterday when my family was singing christian songs as we do sometimes at home together. It's called "Is He Satisfied?". You might know this song, you might not, but just ponder upon the lyrics.
Do you ever search your heart as you watch the day depart?
Is there something way down deep you try to hide?
If this day should be the end, and eternity begin.
When the book is open wide, will the Lord be satisfied?
Chorus:
Is He satisfied, is He satisfied, is He satisfied with me?
Have I done my best, have I stood the test?
Is He satisfied with me?
When my Lord shall come again,
When He walks and talks with man.
What if every friend He had were just like me?
Would He feel a welcome here?
Or would He walk away in tears?
Am I all that I should be?
Is He satisfied with me?
Repeat Chorus
Feeble is the lamb of fame
By which man incribes his name
On the walls of time for other men to see.
Though he boast of wealth and power,
None can help him in that hour.
When the angels hear his plea;
Is He satisfied with me?
Repeat Chorus
I learnt this song when I was just a toddler, but I never knew the meaning of it. Till my father called me to his room yesterday and told me NEVER to forget this song. I realised how much meaning it was carrying. I really love this song. I'm glad someone wrote it. Old hymns tend to teach christians about practical living when nowadays, it's full of praise to God. There's another song I shouldn't forget. It doesn't mean as much to me as "Is He Satisfied?" , but meaningful all the same. It's called "Give Them All"
Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows?
Are you tired of spinning round and round?
Wrap of all the shattered dreams of your life.
At the feet of Jesus lay them down.
Chorus:
Give them all, give them all,
Give them all to Jesus,
Shattered dreams, wounded hearts and broken toils.
Give them all, give them all,
Give them all to Jesus,
And He will turn your sorrows into joy.
He'd never say you'll only see sunshine.
He'd never say there'll be no rain.
He only promise us a heart or singing.
At the very thing that brought us pain.
Repeat Chorus
These 2 songs are rather meaningful. I learnt the second song from Mrs Eleanor Goh when she sand it for morning devotion when I was just P3/4. I thought the song was really funny cause of the tune, but it turns out to be such a wonderful song when you examine it. There's a lot of metaphorical stuff in the verses of the song, but when you understand what it represents, it's fantastic! The song is great.
Have you heard of the book "Just Like Jesus"? I got an analogy from the book goes something like this (in my own words).
If your heart was replaced with Jesus's heart for one day. It's a typical day. Your schedule isn't changed, your body hasn't changed. Except that Jesus is in you. Would your friends and the people you communicate with notice a difference in the way you act? If they do, you're not like Jesus. If you were, they couldn't tell the difference could they?
Philippines mission trip huh? I have to pray about it and see what God has to say about it. It's rather expensive though. My mother might not have a budget big enough for me to go in the first place. My brother doesn't want to go.
Push factors: My holidays are rather boring. I'm losing sight of God and this might bring me closer to Him.
Pull fators: Money $$$. It's only a few days after my birthday. I might want to bake cookies at Lixin's house during that time. More money. The fact that I'll probably get homesick.
Will come back to those who messaged me asking if I want to go.

Dental 2 days ago. So stupid. I slept late the night before and had to wake up early for the dental appointment. I walked to school, 7min. She checked my particulars; 3 min. She put the mirror and then sharp thingy inside; 5min.
She talked to me about Gingivitis and proper brushing; 7min. I walked home; 7min. Stupid dental appointment. Waste 29min of my precious time. The same night, studied SS and almost made my older brother late for school the next day because I took his SS book. I haven’t bought my books. I want to quickly buy my books. Get top few in level, if I can. Because my combination is good, so I can try to do well.
Yesterday, BAND! Chun Yuen and I got a fright because Amanda asked us to settle some scores but we didn’t know of any scores to settle. (We skipped fall in because of that) We were thinking about what Oliver said last practice. There was nothing besides the Standard of excellence. Then we started looking for the “sway” score, but we couldn’t find. Oliver panicked when he came back and we told him we couldn’t find it. In the end, it was facing the other side and we were so panicky to the extent that we didn’t notice. Juniors that have yet to hand in Standard of Excellence better do so by next practice, if not, I’ll not be on par (golf). At night, I smsed random people because I was so bored.
Went on Club Penguin. Aim: Get 100,000 coins. Cause that’s the max. I love Club Penguin’s cart surfer and ice fishing, good way to earn money. Pizzatron 3000 also not bad, but must play candy mode to earn more money. But it’s pretty fast cash for noobs. I want to be a member. It’s not fair. I’m already a secret agent AND a tour guide. Probably the end to what non-members can do. Non-members can’t do anything.
Today, home. Doing work, studying, crapping, blogging. Don’t know. Pretty much going to be my whole day. I guess..
I thank God for holidays. Time to relax and let it be “holy days”.
